Today we got on a plane and flew to Dongyang. Actually we flew to Hangzhou and then we took a private van to Dongyang. Our driver, Mr. Wang, is going to be with us for our trip to Hangzhou. He can understand English words like hello, good bye, thank you, good driver etc. etc.

We are going to Dongyang because that is where my orphanage is. I am from Dongyang. Dongyang is known for their wood carvings, and leather work. While we are in Dongyang we will visit my orphanage, and go look at the wood carvings. Dongyang also has the smallest population of all the cities we are visiting. It only has 800,000 people instead of millions.

 Our first evening there we went on a long walk around down town Dongyang. Our hotel is right next to a square where people ballroom dance and sing karaoke. When we got back we noticed that our beds were hard as a rock, except mine! I just had a cot to sleep on. It was comfy but sagged, a lot!
