DISCLAIMER:

The SAGE II & SAGE IIc programs are designed only as estimating tools and rely on subjective input from the user. Therefore they cannot be guaranteed to provide accurate representation of surface areas.
SAGE II and SAGE IIc operate locally on the user's browser and do not send any patient information back to the internet.

See our Terms and Conditions page for information about our privacy policy.

SAGE IIc - DIAGRAM STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL

The SAGE IIc version provides storage and retrieval of SAGE II diagrams. Patient images are saved only on your computer, and can be opened anytime using SAGE II or SAGE IIc. This ability enables you to document the progression and treatment of the burn injury as a series of diagrams, all contained in the same compact file.

Both the original SAGE II version and the SAGE IIc version are capable of opening existing SAGE II diagram files, but only the SAGE IIc version will create and append SAGE diagram files.

*** In the future access to the SAGE IIc version will only be available to registered users. The original SAGE II version will remain freely available on an unrestricted basis. Information about registering for SAGE IIc access will be posted here when it becomes available.

For more information about the SAGE IIc version see our release notes.... To run the SAGE IIc program now, return to the top of this page and select the top [Enter] button.

SAGE II FEATURES:

  • Freely available on the internet
  • Calculates age-adjusted estimates for TBSA, partial, deep, and user-selected palettes, in percentages and cm^2.
  • Calculates cm^2 and % burn for 33 body areas
  • Provides Parkland fluid resuscitation estimates for TBSA > 20%
SAGE II provides consistent wound assessments, as well as a convenient way to graphically document wound and treatment areas. Users have found SAGE II also works well for estimating coverage requirements when planning and ordering specialized dressings and artifical skin products.
